First workshops will be headstands for beginners.
This workshop will dissect and answer the questions you’ve always had about headstands. This workshop is particularly for beginners but can also serve as a refresher for experienced practitioners. It’s no surprise that turning your perspective of the world upside down can be daunting and challenging for most of us and it can be difficult to get the attention you need in larger group classes; so working more intensively in a smaller intimate group is a great way to get the tools you need to get stronger in your headstand practice.
During this workshop we will enjoy a vinyasa style flow to warm the muscles before working specifically on preparatory poses to strengthen the upper body, shoulders and core. Its going to be a fun and insightful journey learning to achieve this posture inviting you to take away new ideas and information of how to safely integrate headstand/or variations into our yoga practice.
Whether you are new to headstand or have trouble finding balance and stability on your arms, this is the workshop for you.
You don’t need to be able to do a full headstand to attend, as all options, instructions and support with be given – Come prepared to work hard and have fun…
